Inside the app

How it works

AI counting. Three steps. No gear.

01

Set up your phone

Lean your phone at a side or 45° angle so the AI counter sees your whole body in plank. PUSH checks your framing before it starts.

02

Do your pushups

A short countdown, then go. PUSH reads your elbow angle with on-device pose detection and counts only clean reps.

03

Share the proof

Get your set summary, a share card, and a clean video with the rep counter baked in. Post it. Keep the streak alive.

FAQ

Good to know.

Does my video get uploaded?

No. Counting happens on your device — nothing is uploaded just to count. Video only leaves your phone if you choose to render a shareable clip while signed in.

Do I need an account?

No. You can count, track and see your stats locally without signing up. Create an account later only if you want to sync across devices and join leaderboards.

What camera angle works best?

A side or 45° angle that shows your full body in plank is most accurate. PUSH checks visibility, angle and plank line before it starts counting.

Is it free?

Yes. The counter, tracking and share cards are free. Download PUSH on the App Store, or use the web fallback in a compatible browser.

How is this different from other AI push-up counter apps?

Most apps make you tap a button or balance your phone on the floor and nudge a proximity sensor. PUSH uses AI pose detection to watch your full body with the camera and count real reps — checking depth so half-reps don't count. We break down how it stacks up in our guide to the best push-up counter apps.
